Firstserv’s Hyper-V hosting leverages a highly available clustered server architecture and high-speed SAN at an attractive price for businesses of all sizes.

Your data is safe, with managed backups, provided through System Centre Data Protection Manager, which guarantee that customer data is stored on redundant storage systems, and further protection provided by our partnership with R1soft and multiple SAN storage nodes.

Firstserv provides both managed and unmanaged Hyper-V machines.

Managed

Our managed packages are ideal or clients who wish to concentrate on their business, leaving the administration of their server in our capable hands. Server management tasks are carried out by Firstserv engineers. Clients have access to the Hyper-V control panel and all routine maintenance, patching and software upgrades and configuration are carried out for you. 

Unmanaged

Our unmanaged VPS packages are a cost-effective solution for clients who are comfortable carrying out general configuration and administration tasks such as patching and software upgrades themselves. Clients receive full administrator or root access, and server management is not provided by Firstserv. Troubleshooting of software within your virtual machine may be undertaken at extra cost, and a restore from backup may be requested once per week at no extra cost.

As part of the package, we will register a .com .uk .biz .info .net or .org domain name. Alternatively we will help you to transfer an existing domain from another registrar to us.

Please note that .eu domains need to be registered and paid for separately.
